BGCGM Inducts Six Honorees into the Hall of Fame

11/6/25 – Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester (BGCGM) inducted three individuals and two couples into its Hall of Fame on Thursday, November 6, at their Union Street Clubhouse. Nearly 125 people attended the annual event to celebrate the 2025 inductees: alumni Katy Easterly Martey, former Chief Operating Officer Ken Neil, former IT Director Rick Zamoida, and friends of the Club and Trustees Steve and Janet Morse and Claude and Diana Rouleau.

Katy Easterly Martey’s journey from Club kid to community leader began at Camp Foster. The lessons of belonging, leadership, and compassion she learned at the Club and at Camp continue to guide her work today, where she leads efforts to invest in communities across the state that need it most. Katy remains deeply connected to the Club alongside her husband, Theo, and their children, Theo and Serafina, carrying forward the same spirit of connection and opportunity that shaped her own life.

Ken Neil dedicated more than four decades of his career to creating life-changing experiences for young people and families through BGCGM. Beginning as Athletic Director at the Pinardville Boys Club in 1978, Ken became a beloved mentor, leader, and champion for youth, known for his creativity, humor, and unwavering commitment to ensuring every child felt welcomed, supported, and valued. Throughout his career, Ken helped shape generations of Club members and staff while expanding programs that strengthened families and increased access to opportunities. From pioneering meal programs and before-school care to helping lead the transformation of Camp Foster and supporting inclusive experiences for children of all abilities, his impact can be seen across every corner of the organization. Ken’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the culture of fun, belonging, and service that continues to define the Club today.

Rick Zamoida has dedicated 35 years to shaping generations of young people and making the Club feel like home for all who walk through its doors. A former Club member himself, Rick’s journey began at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salem, where he first discovered the sense of belonging that would define his life’s work. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Rick returned to the Club as a lifeguard at Camp Foster, beginning a long and impactful career that included roles as Assistant Athletic Director, Teen Director, and, most recently, the Technology Director. Beyond titles and achievements, Rick’s greatest legacy lies in the hundreds of youths and staff he has mentored with humor, humility, and heart. To generations of Club kids, Rick wasn’t just a staff member; he was a role model, a friend, and proof that the Club is, above all else, a place to call home.

Steve and Janet Morse & Claude and Diana Rouleau are two remarkable couples who are longtime friends and champions of the Club’s mission, dedicating years of service, generosity, and heart to supporting local youth. Claude and Diana became involved after moving to Manchester in 2000, with Claude volunteering regularly and the couple establishing the Eric Rouleau Memorial Scholarship in honor of their late son, helping countless teens pursue their dreams. Steve and Janet have been steadfast supporters through both leadership and action, helping launch a teen driver safety program and consistently answering the call whenever a child or family is in need. Known for their humility, warmth, and unwavering belief in young people, both couples exemplify what it means to give back to one’s community and truly make a difference.

Congratulations to each of the inductees. We are honored to have you be part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester family. Special thanks to our event sponsors NBT Bank, Groundworks, Cohen Investment Advisors, Anagnost Companies, BASC, and Gallagher.
